Se·lah (/ˈsēlə,ˈsel-/)
Interjection
A word occurring between verses or paragraphs in parts of the Bible, often in the Psalms, perhaps indicating a pause for contemplation.
Selah was used in the Psalms encouraging the reader to take a moment to pause, and reflect. With demands knocking at our door, we may forget to take this moment to pause and reflect. In fact, we may even be discouraged to mindfully take this pause for reflection. In a world that beckons for our attention, a world that tempts us to identify more with shame than freedom, Selah calls us to identify the holes in our hearts and emotions. It calls us to shake off the chains that bind us by coming face-to-face with what holds us back as we remember to breathe. To pause. And to reflect.
Selah Counseling provides a safe space for healing and learning to take place. Located in downtown Parker, Colorado, Selah Counseling is a convenient location for those in the Denver Metro area, Castle Rock/Castle Pines, and Aurora areas.

Introduction to Synergetic Play Therapy
I feel and think deeply and enjoy getting to the heart of the matter. I am energetic, warm and passionate.
I attended Denver Seminary for my graduate education, and have passion in merging faith into my counseling style upon request. I am married to my love and forever, my best friend and confidant. We have a daughter who brings us just the utmost joy! I love living in Colorado, and in my free time, I’m either connecting with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and trails, or geeking out on things like podcasts and the enneagram!
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I work with children, teens, and women where I incorporate a variety of approaches such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and spirituality with a trauma focused lens. Working with individuals who are searching to find healing from shame, anxiety and trauma brings me great fulfillment. I have also completed my training in Eye Movement Rapid Desensitization and have training in Synergetic Play Therapy.
I have worked in the counseling world for over 8 years, having experience in an acute treatment unit, as well as with disordered eating and body shame. I also have experience in working with children in play therapy, using a Synergetic Play Therapy and attachment lens
